deeper still

Ephesians 2:6-7 (NIV)
And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

DEEPER STILL

Deeper still this holy faith
Is built with rock not sand,
Deeper still foundation rock
Deep inside my soul is God.

Deeper still this love I know
Is anchored on truth not doubt,
Deeper still His promise kept
Deep in my heart He wept.

Are you ”Born Again” saint,
Are you really good enough?
Truth is my friend you can only be saved,
By ”Amazing Grace“ through Jesus’ blood.

It is by grace you have been saved,
through faith–and this not of yourself;
It is the gift of God– none can say they 
were able to save themselves from hell.

Deeper still the Cross of Christ,
has canceled out your sinful life;
Deeper still God’s love for you,
has transformed you into someone new!

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.  Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
