PRAYER

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer….
let your thoughts be made known to God. Philippians 4

TRUST IN GOD

Everything you want or need
For those whom you love and care
Whatever you might beg or plead
Ask anything in grateful prayer

Whatever you might fret about
Every tall or small cause for worry
Choose instead by faith to trust in God

Talk to Him about your life
Let your Father calm your heart
You brought nothing into this world
Most surely you’ll take nothing out

All that you wish or hope
Anything you have or desire
Every overarching dream
Leave it all at Jesus’ feet

Philippians 4:6
Be anxious for nothing,
but in everything by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests
be made known to God.

PRAYER

Anything you need
For those you love and care
Whatever you might plead
Do everything in prayer

Whatever you might fret about
Every big or small cause for worry
Choose instead by faith to trust in God

Talk to Him about your life
Let your Father calm your heart
You brought nothing into the world
Most surely you’ll take nothing out

All that you might wish or hope
Anything you have or desire
Every overarching dream
Leave it all at Jesus’ feet

Psalm 19:14
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in your sight O Lord my rock and my redeemer.

WEATHER THE DAY

If every day was blue sky sunny
And every moment full of joy
I’d depend upon myself  and money
To satisfy this pain I know

If I could count on every day great
And every second perfect peace
My prideful heart would never break
And God would never need to speak

If every day was darn near perfect
And nothing could disturb my heart
I wouldn’t need an anchor or a savior
To hold me when I fall apart

But only God is perfect
Only Jesus can heal my heart
Weather the day is dry or wet
Christ alone is light in my dark
